Even a CEO of a company could throw a comment out on a blog just to get consumers to bit and to express how they really feel about that particular product.

blog may also be a good way for companies to network. For example, If a title of a blog is about a trend or a controversial issue and two people from different companies share the opinion they may converse later about further business.

I could see blogs being a way for product positioning. Informing viewers through blogs could help advertisement before the new product gets categorized as one of the thousands of other products just like it.

According to the article "Blogging for dollars,"

- could be a great way to make company bulletins
- It could also be a form of income to the company through the placement of Ads from other companies

4. ) as of right now, blogs do not have the marketing and advertising feel to them and they shouldn't. Because blogging is still in its infancy phase people are still open to the facts and opinions of others. But I think once blogging catches on as a advertisers dream then participations would decline and blogs would be no better then a topical television commercial or pop-up advertisement.

5. ) I don't believe that blogs are a fad. Blogs are an excellent way for people to express there opinion. People are often seen and not heard, but blogs allow expressions and feeling to shown. So regardless of how popular this actually becomes, there will always be a demand for it. The need for personal express is too high and blogging is the perfect outlet. So whether or not marketers continue to invest in blogging, the end-user would eventually be desensitizing to the advertising affect.

6.) I would like the marketing department to start a blog. It would be a good way for students to communicate do discuss which professors/classes are good to take (or not to take). It would also be a great way for future marketers to interact with one another.
